Pure Water at Every Tap With Reverse Osmosis

Enjoy crystal-clear, great-tasting drinking water with a reverse osmosis (RO) system. Our custom RO filter systems use advanced technology to deliver high-quality water right from your faucet!

These systems help save you money on bottled water while reducing plastic waste. RO removes contaminants, eliminates odors, and improves clarity and flavor so you can safely use your water supply.

How Reverse Osmosis Works

Reverse osmosis water systems clean your water through a multi-step process.

  • First, water flows through a specialized pre-filter that removes sediment, chlorine, and particles you can’t even see. This step also eliminates any unpleasant tastes or smells.
  • Next, water is forced through a semipermeable membrane. The membrane catches dissolved solids and contaminants that other filters miss.
  • Before reaching your tap, the water passes through one final stage— an activated carbon filter. This polishing step ensures your water tastes pure and fresh, whether it comes straight from the unit or a storage tank.

Our RO systems include an intelligent automatic shut-off feature that prevents waste. When your storage tank is full, the system stops producing water until you need more. This smart technology not only saves water but also extends the life of your system by reducing wear on the membrane.

Protection From Multiple Contaminants

Pure Water Works offers a full line of reverse osmosis water filters. These systems effectively reduce and remove numerous contaminants, such as:

  • Chlorine taste and odor
  • Fluoride
  • Sediment
  • Nitrates
  • Lead
  • Harmful cysts
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
  • PFAS (PFOA/PFOS)
  • Arsenic
  • Detergents
  • Bacteria and viruses

Your water quality challenges are unique to your home, which is why we customize systems to address your needs.

Why Our RO Systems Are Different

Our reverse osmosis systems use three to four stages of sophisticated filtration to deliver exceptionally clean water. At the heart of each system lies the semi-permeable membrane. In addition, custom-designed pre- and post-filters eliminate any pollutants RO can’t catch. These filters are specifically made to treat your unique water quality problems.

We engineer our systems with your home in mind. Each unit includes an automatic shut-off valve to conserve water, and our space-saving design fits neatly under your sink. For added convenience, you can choose to add an electronic monitoring system that alerts you when it’s time to change your filters.

We also offer whole-home water filtration systems for customers who want RO-treated water throughout their entire property.

How Does Water Contamination Occur?

Local water systems face multiple threats. Industrial dumping, agricultural runoff, environmental pollution, and aging water system infrastructure all affect the water that reaches your home.

The Hard Water Reality

85% of Americans live in an area with hard water, including many here in northern Michigan. As water moves through soil and rock, it picks up calcium, magnesium, and other minerals. When these minerals accumulate in excess, they create “hard water,” which can impact your home’s plumbing and appliances.

Beyond Hard Water

Many households face water quality issues beyond hard minerals. Municipal water may contain high levels of chlorine, chloramine, and byproducts of treatment chemicals. Well water can carry sediment, heavy metals, or other naturally occurring contaminants. Some families turn to bottled water as a solution, but this is expensive and creates increased plastic waste.

Modern Solutions for Better Water

Pure Water Works offers a modern approach to achieving clean, healthy water. Our reverse osmosis systems address all types of water challenges, delivering fresh, great-tasting water straight to your tap.

More About Our Reverse Osmosis Systems

Environmentally Friendly

RO water is the smart alternative to bottled water for many reasons:

  • Americans throw out 38 million plastic bottles every year that end up in landfills
  • Each plastic bottle takes 700 years to start decomposing
  • 90% of what you pay for bottled water goes toward the bottle itself, not the water
  • The bottled water industry uses 24 million gallons of oil to produce a billion plastic bottles
  • Additional energy is wasted on bottling and shipping water across the country

A reverse osmosis system gives you unlimited pure water right from your tap, eliminating the need for bottled water while protecting the environment.

Ratings & Certifications

Our reverse osmosis systems meet the highest standards for water treatment performance and safety:

  • NSF International has tested and certified our systems to NSF/ANSI Standard 58
  • Tested by Spectrum Labs, Inc., a state-certified testing laboratory.
  • Performance monitoring includes water production, wastewater levels, and contaminant rejection rates
  • System performance rated at: 50 psi, 77F, 750 ppm/TDS product to storage tank

Note: System performance may vary based on your home’s water pressure, temperature, and amount of total dissolved solids (TDS).

Benefits of Alkaline Water

Many people have heard the growing buzz around the potential health benefits of drinking alkaline water. Let’s dive into this topic and why people are opting for alkaline hydration.

Everything you eat and drink has a pH level of 0 (very acidic) to 14 (very alkaline). Typical drinking water has a pH of 7, making it neutral. Alkaline water typically has a pH between 7.5 and 9.

Many people say that consuming alkaline water can neutralize acid in your bloodstream. Others say it can help prevent diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.

Enhance Your Water With Alkaline Filtration

Our advanced alkaline filtration system can help you get alkaline water right at home. After thorough purification with RO, our system adds beneficial minerals back into your water. This creates a basic pH level. Our filters have helped tap water reach levels as high as 10.

How Our Alkaline System Works

Our system goes beyond basic filtration. First, it removes unwanted elements like chlorine, sediment, and unpleasant tastes and odors. Then, the water passes through a specialized post-filter that introduces beneficial minerals. This process not only creates alkaline water but also enhances the water’s natural taste.
